In Cristina’s Garden, the wisteria finally awakens in all its splendor!

It’s a moment of magic and joy, as the garden is adorned in violet and butterflies dance in the air. Each April, the first buds emerge, bringing with them a tradition rich in captivating stories.

Wisteria also holds significance in Eastern legends, where emperors carried it on their journeys as a symbol of friendship and respect. And there’s even an Italian legend that recounts the origin of this enchanting plant, born from the tears of a shepherdess named Wisteria.

In the language of flowers, wisteria symbolizes beauty, sensuality, as well as longevity and health, due to its resilience. It’s no wonder it’s such a cherished flower, even used in bridal bouquets, symbolizing unity and tenderness. And in Europe, it’s the perfect gift to celebrate friendship.

So, come and share this spectacle with a friend at our cozy bed & breakfast in the heart of Chianti. It will be an experience to remember!
